Fausto Armonti
 
was born in Reggio Emilia in Italy on October 19th 1964.

After graduating from university in Italy with a degree in economics, he transferred to the USA, where he lived and worked for a number of years. He took international marketing and communication specializations at the Southern Methodist University in Dallas.


Since the early 1990s he has worked on marketing and communication consulting activities in Italy and abroad, mainly relating to companies’ internationalization processes, inventing and managing new models of strategic alliances in very different sectors such as: entertainment, media, National and international tradeshow management, the food industry, luxury goods, franchising, and food-related business.
He has provided his know-how as tutor in post-graduate specialization courses at the Accademia di Comunicazione (Milan) and at the 11th and 12th Marketing & Communication Master courses held by Publitalia (Milan).
He is a member of the supervisory committee of the “Strada dei Vini e dei Sapori” consortium within the Emilia Romagna regional authorities’ project for the promotion and profitable exploitation of the region’s wine & food heritage.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of 1001 Restaurant Corporation – Washington DC.


He is CEO of CIR Food USA, the new US company owned by CIR Food Group, the second largest catering operator in Italy specialized in nutritional programs mainly for schools, hospitals and corporations, as well as being the owner of a number of restaurant franchising brands, of which Pastarito is the largest Italian-owned restaurant chain.
He is European Representative for Mr. Louis Ceruzzi of “Starwood-Ceruzzi Capital LLC”
He is currently also a senior partner of Cellie & Partners srl. where he provides consulting services in the areas of international marketing and project management for the following clients:

FIERE DI PARMA, as manager of international development of the Cibus tradeshow brand (Italy’s largest food tradeshow and the second largest in Europe), starting in 2002 with “Cibus Brazil” in São Paulo in 2002, followed by “Cibus Moscow” in 2004. He is also manager of special events for the 2006 edition of the “Mercante in Fiera” tradeshow (National largest exhibition of collectors’ items and tomorrow’s antiques)
